Friends of Scouting - FOS

Posted on May 20 2018 - 9:04pm

Our troop will have our annual Friends of Scouting (FOS) drive at our February 27th CoH.  FOS is the financial campaign for the Mount Diablo Silverado Council (MDSC) and Meridian District.  Both Council and District do so much to assist our troop - Troop Recharter, Eagle Scout advancement assistance, BSA member registration, Unit Liability Insurance, local camps for troop use and adult trainings. Troop dues do not cover these services.

Please watch this short informational video which explains what FOS is and how proceeds donated benefit your scout, our troop, the Meridian District and the MDSC.

Our troop goal is 100% participation and your help and support are needed.  All families will receive a pledge card that we ask be returned at the February CoH.  If you want to make a pledge now, please us the following link:

Donations are tax deductible.
